<description>Rye Tourist Information Centre has launched their third annual photographic competition. 
Building on the success of the previous two years, they are looking for stunning images of this beautiful town and surrounding areas that truly captivate the essence of the Rye area. 
The competition is open to all ages and levels of ability; however entries are limited to three images per person. The twelve winning photographs will be featured in a 2014 Calendar &#8220;Rye and Beyond&#8221;.

<title>Rye Cricket play Lashings World Xl</title>

<description>Rye Cricket Club is celebrating its' 260th season with a fixture against a Lashings World Xl which will have 11 former test cricketers, including Gordon Greenidge, Desmond Haynes and Devon Malcolm.  Come down to the Rye Cricket Salts and enjoy the sight of the young cricketers of Rye against world famous cricket legends. The format for the day for those wishing to be in the Marquee is: 
12.00: Lunch for 200 in Marquee on The Rye Salts.
This will be managed by Lashings - to include entertainment and an auction.
2.30pm: 35 Over a side match. 
8.00pm:  Live Music in the Marquee till late  (&#163;5 for those attending the evening only). There will be a bar in the Marquee with beer supplied by the match sponsor Shepherd &amp; Neame.
Tickets for the day are:
&#163;35 for lunch with a Lashings Cricketer as host ( 11 tables seating 9 people each, available).
&#163;25 for lunch in parties of 10.(6 tables seating 10 people each, available).
