Lawson Wood lived in Groombridge Kent, before his death in 1957 he moved to Sidmouth Devon. Wood’s eccentricity is reflected in his purchase of a Sussex Manor House he had demolished and moved brick-by-brick and rebuilt in Groombridge. |
