The Beach Bistro is part of the Gallivant Hotel, a boutique Beach House Hotel managed and co-owned by Tudor Hopkins and Harry Cragoe. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to our local neighbours, beachcombers and hotel guests. We do this informally but professionally using the very best ingredients, always seasonal and almost exclusively from suppliers that live and work within 15 miles of us. By day the Bistro is extremely light and airy, with driftwood furniture and white wooden blinds that reflect its location. With terracing to the front it is the ideal venue for summer alfresco lunches. By night the atmosphere is relaxed and sophisticated. During the warmer months we open the Beach Café in our coastal shingle garden offering outdoor dining with casual ‘beach’ style food and drinks served from our beach kitchen and bar. The Beach Bistro is situated opposite the beach car park, overlooking the towering dunes of Camber Sands, approximately 3 miles outside Rye in East Sussex.
