Find out, take a guided walk round Rye, looking at the houses and places associated with Mapp and Lucia, and their creator, E.F.Benson. Walk round Rye and enter E.F.Benson's world.

The Walk lasts 1 ½ hrs.

Starts: 2pm
From: The Look-out at the eastern end of the High Street, the viewing point with the telescope for looking over the Romney Marsh.
A must for all Mapp and Lucia and Benson enthusiasts.

The Walk ends at Lamb House, the home of E.F.Benson, which is not open on Wednesdays, but is on Saturdays.

THE E.F. BENSON SOCIETY

The E.F.Benson Society works to promote interest in E.F.Benson and the Benson family, and holds events and talks throughout the year as well as producing an annual journal and other publications. Membership is £12, £15 for two people at the same address, for UK and Europe, and £20 for other parts of the world. The Society was founded in 1985 and has produced its journal every year since, and published out of print Benson articles and stories as well as reprinting Betty Askwith's biography of the Benson family.
